Hiring bodyguards can be a great way to protect yourself from potentially dangerous situations when you’re out in public.
But, as many celebrities and high-profile individuals have learned the hard way, having a bodyguard isn’t always enough to keep you completely safe, especially if the person(s) pursuing you know how to go around your security team and approach you directly.

AOUN FAQ’s
Get clear answers to common questions about our services, safety practices, and what sets Aoun Defense apart.
What makes Aoun Defense Security different from other security companies?
Aoun Defense is built on real-world law enforcement and military experience. Our team is comprised of former police officers, detectives, and service members who’ve faced high-stakes threats and know how to de-escalate situations with professionalism and precision. We don’t just fill posts — we actively defend, assess, and prevent.
How does Aoun Defense ensure safety without escalating situations?
Our officers are trained in situational awareness, de-escalation, and threat recognition. Because our team members come from professional policing backgrounds, they understand how to respond with authority and restraint — maintaining peace without provoking panic.
Do you conduct background checks and advanced training for your staff?
Yes — every officer goes through an intensive screening process, including criminal background checks and drug testing. Training includes state-required certifications as well as our internal program focused on ethics, public interaction, use-of-force protocols, and site-specific safety drills.
Can you help create a security plan for my business or property?
Absolutely. Our team can conduct a threat assessment and develop a custom security plan tailored to your location — whether it’s a school, construction site, retail store, or corporate office. We focus on visibility, access control, response times, and vulnerability mitigation.
What types of clients typically work with Aoun Defense?
We work with a wide range of clients — including school districts, retail centers, corporate offices, HOAs, construction firms, and private individuals. Our flexible team adapts to your environment, whether you’re looking for a discreet executive detail or uniformed property patrols.
How do you stay current with safety regulations and best practices?
We continuously train and adapt. Our leadership stays up to date with state laws, compliance standards, and security innovations — from fire watch regulations to camera integration protocols. That’s how we ensure both legal compliance and industry best practices across all services.
Are your officers equipped to respond to emergencies?
Yes. Many of our team members are former first responders trained to handle medical emergencies, evacuations, and hostile situations. Each post is assigned based on the specific needs and risks of the site, and every officer is briefed with site-specific emergency procedures.
